International Standards are practical tools for aligning climate policies worldwide. By providing robust frameworks for critical action like mitigation, adaptation and financing, ISO standards make it easier for governments and organizations to cooperate, measure progress and verify compliance across sectors and regions.

Standards supports national and international policy efforts by enabling consistent, comparable and verifiable climate action. This global alignment not only promotes accountability for climate initiatives, but fosters cooperation on an international scale.
